A beautiful daughter
and now a boy on the way
when she asks when he'll be here
"soon" her mom says.
She eagerly waits
asking each day
What he will be like?
Will he be able to play?
Her mom answers patiently
her inquisitive lines.
While her own questions
run through her mind.
What will he be like?
What will he do?
Can I really do this?
Lord, I need you.
She prays to the Lord
and He gives her peace.
In His loving presence
her mind is at ease.
